At 583 Park Avenue we are dedicated to hosting sustainable and eco-friendly events. From the farm-fresh dishes we serve to the fuel choices we make, it is important to us that every event we host has a positive impact on New York City and on our environment as a whole.

As a show of our commitment to hosting sustainable events, our event team got together to create this eco-friendly pledge. The pledge lists the 13 (and counting) eco-friendly practices that we commit to employing at every event we host.

583 Park Avenue’s Eco-Friendly Pledge Includes:

1. Serving filtered NYC tap water rather than bottled
2. Using organic, free-range, antibiotic-free, wild-caught, and responsibly farmed ingredients whenever possible
3. Minimizing food waste by recycling leftovers.
4. Using low energy consumption LED lighting
5. Using bio-diesel in all AV trucking
6. Sending out grease rendering to be turned into bio-diesel
7. Separating waste for recycling
8. Reusing office paper waste
9. Using fabric hand towels in restrooms rather than paper
10. Laundering towels and uniforms in-house
11. Reused original millwork as wainscoting during renovation
12. Installing sustainable cork flooring in Arcade room
13. Installing solar panels and creating a rooftop garden to grow select ingredients (Coming soon)
