Recently Louis Rose, head of The Rose Group, gave a tour of the newly restored 583 Park Avenue to famed New York blogger, John Foreman.

Foreman recounts his tour, the story of the venue’s history and its recent 10 million dollar renovation project on his New York Social Diary blog in a post entitled, “Big Old Houses: Park Avenue Freeze Out”.

Foreman describes 583 Park Avenue as, “…a magnificent space, with or without pews, and in immaculate condition. At swanky parties it’s filled with flowers and china and silver, elaborate centerpieces, ballroom chairs, attractive people and dramatic lighting.”
