On Thursday, October 3rd, former president Bill Clinton, along with former advisor George Stephanopoulos, joined The Hellenic Initiative to celebrate the group’s Inaugural Banquet and Honors at 583 Park Avenue.
Clinton, the honorary patron of the evening, addressed the audience by giving a short speech praising the efforts of the Greek people and government, and expressing a hopefully outlook towards the future of the Greek economy.
Banquet honorees included Andreas Dracopoulos of The Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Muhtar Kent, CEO of The Coca Cola Company and Andrew N. Liveris, CEO of The Dow Chemical Company, for their commitment to supporting the people of Greece, especially during the country’s recent economic difficulties.
